AC11 VIP Party

The band began as a studio collaboration between Jessi Hall and Roger Greenawalt (Brooklyn, NY) that resulted in Chapter 1, a 7 track, minimalistic, melodrama about lost love. The album was more of a soundtrack than an exploration of one sound or idea-- a creation of different characters from song to song for Hall to explore different parts of her voice.

The project has since evolved into a 5 piece that has opened for bands including Cate Le Bon, Tennis, and Midlake. The musicians have spent the last 2 years developing a new sound inspired by George Gershwin, Tom Waits, David Lynch, and Serge Gainsbourg.

A new collection of songs will be released sometime in 2014.

Bethan will return to the studio this summer to begin recording a full length album at Redwood Studios in Denton, TX.
