About White Collar Sideshow
T.D. Benton's
~White Collar Sideshow~
"A movement if you will, a revolution of the heart"
Our performance has often been titled and expressed in many different shapes and forms:
"Amazing and spectacular, strange but true, revolutionary, original, intense, honest, relevant, exciting, inspirational, passionate, beautiful, artistic, loving, forgiving, convicting, unbelievable, weird, haunting, unusual, extreme, mind-boggling, horrifying, insane, crazy, disgusting, garbage, offensive, distasteful, trashy, and even the devil!!"
Hailing from the city famous for it's gallows, Ft. Smith, AR...
White Collar Sideshow began as a series of dreams from the mind of an addict, TD Benton. Wanting to help people realize they were not alone, the dreams became the blueprint for putting together a very strange and unusual performance. After questioning our own minds, we sold everything that we owned to live on the road. We desired to become the change we wanted to see!
Becoming a band of gypsies living in an RV, our lives became full of passion and purpose, unknowing and learning. We burned our diesel on dirt roads, backroads, byways, highways, sideways and interstates all over the US! We have toured relentlessly, performing in many different venues on many different stages. Looking for anyone to connect with us on a personal level, we ended up performing for thousands, in many different towns, cities, and states with numerous local, regional and national acts.
Then, after traveling for 3 years straight, we ended our first performance with true unity, full of wonderful memories, friends, supporters, believers, fans, haters and lovers of what we do with a grand exclamation point!!
ENTER, ACT II
"The WitcHunt"
From the mind of T.D. Benton, alongside Travis Joiner (777 productions) and master producer/engineer Chris Baseford (Rob Zombie, Tommy Lee) a new chapter of our life begins with our first full-length recording, a new act if you will, titled "The WitcHunt."
Diving deep into the heart of humanity, WCS picks up where the first performance left off.
Based on actual events, we take you on an innovative- thrilling and stimulating roller coaster ride through life & tragedy. A crash course through strange & unusual events that could occur at anyplace and time, if we allow it.
T.D. Benton (drums, vocals) brings back the creative and clever players;
...the brutal Herr Schwein (drums),
...the always creepy Leech (aux perc),
...and the lovely but mysterious Faceless Woman (bass).
Together these characters bring you a chilling and somewhat haunting performance on the soul.
Before we point our fingers at each other, what is it that consumes our hearts and minds? What are the vices that haunt and torture our lives?
Traveling the arterial highways full of passion and purpose! Looking for the amazing and spectacular, the loving and forgiving, searching for faith and the unknown.
Rebuilding our minds, and burning our fossil fuel trying to figure out how to exemplify true life,
our gypsy journey starts once again!
"Become transparent. Wear you heart on your sleeve.
Become the change you want to see"
