About The Fabled Few, Spectra

Originally formed in 2010 under the name The Lone Water Fountain by members Tyler Stern and Landon Berry, the band began it's humble beginning stages playing gigs at pool parties in the Stern's backyard. The original lineup also included Mason Rackley on drums. The band, then called Parallel Trains, entered an extended hiatus period throughout 2011. Changing the name to Spectra, with new members Christiana Lovfald and, somewhat later, Bryton Praslicka, the band entered a new phase of creativity. With multiple musical influences, the group created a unique and still developing sound. When Praslicka decided to pursue other opportunities, he was quickly replaced by the highly musical Michael Wright, a drummer, cellist, and singer. With some exposure on the Denton music scene, and the release of their first two singles, Spectra began making a name for itself. On a whim, Landon brought his "entourage" to a band practice to enjoy the music. Among this group was the talented and left-handed Matthew Keith Bach. Bringing in a vintage sound, as an avid fan of the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, Matthew was quickly ingratiated into the already tightly knit group. They continued to play shows in and around Denton, while writing as much music as possible, two pursuits that they still enjoy curating.
