Vicious Firs started off as a two piece, Ryan Spears (vocals/guitar) and Austin Smith (drums), gigging around with only a compilation tape, playing small venues. Within 2 1/2 months, Vicious Firs brought on close friend, Rangeley Grisel (bass), as the missing piece. Together, with relentless drive, Vicious Firs have become a staple in local rock & roll.
