(1993) seemed at once hopefully naive about what is possible while expressing a deep understanding of love???s downfalls, with Real High, Ramona Gonzalez updates this feminine inner dialogue to reflect the increasing challenges of hyper-modern society, in particular with respect to selfhood. Within our current climate of heightened self-awareness, we become inhibited in our ability to truly lose ourselves to another person.
