About Goons Gobblins & Trap Stars Halloween Bash: Yung Gleesh, 21 Savage

After co-founding legendary D.C. gogo band TOB, Gleesh rose to local rap prominence through the release of several street mixtapes that showcase his sometimes dark, sometimes comedic, but always original style of street rap, aptly titled Shitbag Music. Since he began, Gleesh frequently collaborated with MMG-signee Fat Trel, Chicago Based music group GBE's Fredo Santana, Ballout & Capo. In early 2013 he fielded an offer to join Gucci Mane's 1017 Bricksquad outfit and featured on tracks with 1017 members such as PeeWee Longway.

Looking forward to Yung Gleesh's 3rd installment to his mixtape series "Cleansides Finest" the DC artist looks to solidify his place in the music industry with in-house produced hits with videos to follow. With sold-out headlining shows in DC and NY along with packing out LA warehouses with over 500 eager fans, Gleesh has proven to be one of the more exciting acts to hit the current-day rap scene with energetic performances.

Coming off of his last mixtape, Your Favorite Rapper's Favorite Rapper, Gleesh's buzz has been steadily rising which will lead into the summer's release of Cleansides Finest III. YFRFR featured guests Yung Lean, GrandeMarshall, Tayyib Ali, along with Ballout & Capo from GBE with production from Zaytoven, KE on the Track, and others. YFRFR is a mainstay on LiveMixtapes front page with 100k+ hits, which comes after a breakout year for the DC artist.
Over the past year Gleesh has made many large appearances from performing at the 2013 Fools Gold Day Off in Brooklyn with Fools Gold recording artist Grande Marshall to performing as an official artist on this year's 2014 SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas alongside the likes of New York's popular A$AP Mob. Gleesh has also performed at sold out events in NY with friend and frequent collaborator Fredo Santana for his first New York headlining show along with Gleesh's own headlining show in his home city of Washington, DC leading to a sold out crowd of over 350 people in attendance.

With consistent appearances and articles on sites such as XXL Magazine, The Fader, Complex, Noisey, Spin and others Gleesh looks to solidify his spot in the top tier of rappers coming out in summer 2014.
