About Gentle Wednesdays with The Texas Gentlemen
The Texas Gentlemen were born in the high weeds of an unkempt yard in the forest of southern Dallas. Having played together for years, the gentlemen that make up The Texas Gentlemen decided to come together and play some favorite songs of theirs. While the band is made up of many Texas based bands and artists (Leon Bridges, Jonathan Tyler, Larry g(EE), Dovetail, Wesley Geiger, The Misteries, Fortune Field, to name a few), when they come together they create a brand of music that is completely their own. Inspired by predecessors The Band, Leon Russell (and his magical Mad Dogs & Englishmen), George Harrison, and newer artists Monsters of Folk and Tame Impala - The TX Gentlemen gladly display their influences while showing off their own brand of southern, blues, soul, song-writer based rock. To put it simply, it's incredible music that people can tap their foot to, sing every word, and scoot on out to the dance floor if their hips are so inclined. The band is also known to be some of the best studio musicians in the region having performed on almost all of Beau Patrick Bedford's productions (Dovetail's 'Mount Karma', Larry g(EE)'s 'Weekends', Erica Perry's 'Wandering Daisy', Peter Black's 'Heads Many Hands', Jonathan Tyler's 'Holy Smokes', Bad Mountain's 'Bad Mountain', Kirby Brown's 'Child of Calamity', Wesley Geiger's 'El Dorado', among many others soon to be released albums).
Members are: Ryan Ake, Beau Patrick Bedford, Daniel Creamer, Wesley Geiger, Aaron Haynes, Nik Lee, Matt McDonald.
Guests members include, but are not limited to: Jonathan Tyler, Sam Anderson, Dave Matsler, Kirby Brown, Nate Wedan, Brandon Pinckard, Jordan Cain, Jeffrey Saenz.
