About Brett Barrow


Brett Barrow is a Los Angeles musician whose soulful jazzy-funk and roll sound blends powerful guitar sounds and a smooth vocal presence. He is a member of the Universal Recording.

The Monterey Herald in Monterey California, home of the Monterey Jazz Festival, declared Brett the "Berklee Miracle".

Brett attended Berklee College of Music in where he studied with guitarist Richie Hart. While there, he became heavily influenced by George Benson and Wes Montgomery. He also spent a year as a member of the Funk and Soul/PFunk ensemble led by Lenny Stallworth (RH Factor member) - studying Blues, Jazz, Rock and numerous other genres with additional instructors including Livingston Taylor.

Outside of these guitarists, Brett appreciates the works of Led Zeppelin, Pat Martino, Pink Floyd, Peter Frampton, Andy McKee, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rush, Gypsy Kings, Eric Clapton, Ted Nugent, 3EB, SRV, Mac Dre and James Taylor.
