Battle Of The Bands

For over 17 years, The Door has been the place in Dallas for new bands to get their start.

Artists like Eisley, Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights, Oh Sleeper, The Afters, Forever the Sickest Kids, Midlake, Sara Jaffe, Analog Rebellion, Sleeperstar, St. Vincent and many more have all played their first gigs here.

We will have two qualifying rounds with 3-5 bands from each round advancing to the final. Bands are judged on originality, musicianship, and promotion.

Three winning bands will split a cash purse up to $1000 and will receive a ticket pack for future shows at The Door/The Prophet Bar as well as other prizes from Guitar Center.
