About Bathylite, Sharpy, Dead Hawke, Sonar Lights, Stone Machine Electric

Bathylite is an entity comprised of the most ancient of the most magical beings, who banded together to save the world from demonic forces.

The wizards craft spell into song, and cast grand spells through the retelling of ancient tales. A deep haze fills the chambers of the Wizards' halls.

We stomp on boxes, push on strings, beat on skin and scream into space.

Four Fort Worth locals combine influences of punk, blues and funk into an entirely new rock 'n' roll sound. With their sweeping guitar riffs, deep drum progressions and powerful vocals, SHARPY sets out to be the next exciting alternative rock act of the modern age.

Frontman Floyd Giovanni started SHARPY as his sole project. With the addition of two new members the songs were played prematurely around Dallas in hopes of establishing the sound. Ringo Canoli (Echelon High, Pirate Twins, Jeboddiah's Legacy) and Cheo Escobar (Red Sun Revolutions, Subjective I) at this point had known each other for the better part of a decade. Ringo and Cheo were in a short-lived collaboration known as "You", but met Floyd and ended up becoming the 3 piece iteration of SHARPY. The trio played shows with another great band from Fort Worth called "Bad Mother". Their drummer, Crawford Dillinger, joined SHARPY after Bad Mother split up and has been the percussive foundation for Sharpy ever since.

SHARPY is the hard work of artistic minds coming together and we hope that the energy we've put into it can surge through your soul.

Sonar Lights is a rock trio from Denton, TX that has figured out a way to give an appearance of a band being more than just three people. Mighty, crunchy guitar riffs influenced from the early heavy metal era with pummeling rhythmic textures and dynamic melodic vocals meld together to produce the band’s tight sound. Music analyst Jon Lee from The Hong Kong Underground sums up the band’s live performance by saying, “There are times when a band strikes the first riff and you instantly know that you’re in for a treat.”

The past 12 months have been extremely busy for Sonar Lights. The band made quite an impression with Chinese fans and promoters. They are coming off their second China tour, “Year of the Horse” (May 2014). After their successful 2013 “Enter the Snake Tour” the band was promptly asked to return to rock the masses again at the Midi Festival; the largest rock festival in the country.

Sonar Lights was formed in 2011 and has been hovering under the mainstream radar delivering a brand of rock that has been desperately missed. Since the release of “Here We Are” the band has steadily gained credibility from fans, the media and fellow musicians alike. Disc jockey Angela Chase from 97.1 FM “The Eagle,” the largest rock radio station in North Texas, said on her show, “I would highly recommend that you spend the $9.99 on iTunes and download a copy of Sonar Lights’ album. They have quite a few good songs on it.”

The band’s sound and sharp songwriting has caught the attention of the industry’s top music equipment manufacturers. Sonar Lights has proudly built working sponsorships with PRS Guitars, Bogner Amplification, ddrum Drums, George L's, Mono, Trailer Trash Pedalboards, Pigtronix Effect Pedals, Baroni Lab, Clayton guitar picks and Dunlop electronics. In addition, Pandora Internet Radio included Sonar Lights’ entire album to their program giving fans the chance to create and stream their own Sonar Lights station.

Sonar Lights has toured and shared the stage with some of music’s biggest and legendary acts, including: The B-52’s, Cowboy Mouth, Rigor Mortis, Candle Box, Mute Math, Los Lonely Boys, The Toadies, Bowling for Soup and Wishbone Ash.

In the beginning of 2015 the band underwent some major changes regarding band membership. The brainchild of Sonar Lights George Miadis had to seek new members in order for the band to move forward. The new synthesis brought new energy and excitement in the band that was instantly picked up by legendary recording engineer/producer Tim Kimsey (Pantera, SRV, Sick Puppies) who watched their first new line up show and offered a recording deal.

The band enters the studio late this spring to craft their second album. Sonar Lights is dedicated to create an album with a reason for existence and plans on touring Canada, South America and Europe in the near future.
