About Wire Nest, Pinkish Black, Nervous Curtains

Wire Nest is a collaboration between Frank Cervantez and John Nuckels, both members of the legendary Texas live dub ensemble, Sub Oslo . Early in 2013, they began collaborating on ?lm music, which evolved into an ongoing project, including live performance. That year, Wire Nest independently released a selftitled full-length CD, as well as two singles. Their music, while steeped in dub, also borrows elements from ambient, electronica, Krautrock, and dance music. In live performance, Cervantez uses his effect-laden guitar to create ?elds of color and texture, which Nuckels combines with the output from an array of electronic devices to create spontaneous arrangements.
They integrate their sound with visual projections to create a total sensory experience -- a psychedelic art music for the 21st
century.
