Voices of Change - Tibet Fantasia

Join us for our performance of the music of Dr Xi Wang, an internationally renowned composer and professor at SMU. We will perform two works commissioned by Voices of Change: "Echo. Poem. Image." and the world premiere "Tibet Fantasia". Both pieces incorporate dramatic lighting, and the former features a display of dancers and image projection reminiscent of the spectacle of Beijing opera. The commission of Tibet Fantasia was made possible with support from the TACA Donna Wilhelm New Works Fund.

A free pre-concert forum will be held an hour prior to the performance with Laurie Shulman and the composer.
