Upcoming Event: In the Valley of Romance Wine Dinner

The “Grand Dame of Downtown Dallas," The Adolphus Hotel, invites lovers and friends to indulge in an exclusive “In the Valley of Romance,” four-course wine dinner on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 7-10pm, in the Grand Ballroom. The evening is priced at $135/per person and includes the pre-fix menu paired with a selection of wines produced by two of Napa Valley’s most beloved wineries, Franciscan Estate and Mount Veeder.

The special Valentine’s Day event will also feature winemaker and California native, Marla Carroll (who will hand-select all wines) and The Adolphus Executive Chef, Marcus Strietzel, who will pull inspiration from the wine and food of the famed and fabulous Napa Valley to prepare a magnificent repast paired with a collection of classic Franciscan and Mount Veeder wine varieties. Chef Strietzel will whisk diners away on a Napa Valley-inspired, four-course journey of delicious food — such as roasted rib rye with a cabernet sauce or seared duck breast topped with a chocolate and cassis sauce and accompanied by vanilla and cherry risotto — balanced with classic wines and first class service. Lavished with elegance and amore, the evening will wrap with a lively conversation and Q&A with Marla.

Located at 1321 Commerce Street, inside The Adolphus Hotel, the “In the Valley of Romance” event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 7 - 10 p.m., with a cost of $135/person.
