About The Orange
THE ORANGE is a neo-psychedelic band from Dallas Texas, started and fronted by musician Scott Tucker. Other members of the group include Cody Waits, "Chicago Dan" Langerman, Jason Jessup, and Kirk Livesay. With breathtaking live performances and fantastic song writing THE ORANGE brings forth a unique sound the Granada Theater calls "rock and roll simmering with catchy hooks and soaring melodies".
In 2008 THE ORANGE recorded a six song EP featuring the single "Nip/Tuck" with Dallas based producer Jim King. The album, "A Sonic Collection of Short Stories from La La Land", is currently available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon.com, and other online distributors. In support of the EP release, the band toured the east coast of the United States to an incredibly receptive crowd and received decent airplay in Texas. Various appearances on radio shows, high fashion advertisements and in landmark venues such as The W Hotel Ghost Bar and The House of Blues have made THE ORANGE one of the most high profile bands in Dallas. Frequent appearances in Austin's internationally known SXSW Music Conference as well as sharing tour dates with national acts such as The Toadies, Bowling For Soup, and Orgy have pushed the band into the national spotlight.
The group is currently working on their first full length album with the Grammy winning producer Eric Delegard. THE ORANGE's first full length album is due to release in 2013. The future holds nothing but greatness for this amazing band.
