The Keith Karns Big Band

Keith Karns is a nationally award winning trumpet player, composer, and bandleader. An alumni of the famous One O’Clock Lab Band at the University of North Texas, Keith has come into his own as a composer, having written for artists such as Greta Matassa, Rich Perry, and Stephan Harris just to name a few. His Ft. Worth based band has a national reputation and Keith has toured extensively with this group throughout the United States. Incidentally, the members of this group represent the best young talent in the area and pull no punches where the music is concerned. Keith’s music is sophisticated and modern yet intensely soulful.
