About The Face of Emmet Till by Mamie Till-Mobley & David Barr III
Emmett Till, a 14-year old black boy from Chicago was brutally murdered in 1955 while vacationing in Money, Mississippi, accused of whistling at a local white woman. This incident became a national issue and the springboard for the civil rights movement. It gives voice to Emmett's mother and her determination that her son's death not go unnoticed. Directed by Ruth Cantrell.
