"School of Rock": Stage Adaptation of Hit Film Brings Rockin' Laughs

Not since "This Is Spinal Tap" has rockin' out been as funny as in the 2003 film "School of Rock", which launched Jack Black as a full-blown star. Now this electric comedy is set to blow the walls off the Art Centre Theatre in an original stage adaptation. Kicked out of his band and struggling to make ends meet, Dewey Finn finds himself in the most unlikely of jobs -- teaching at a prestigious prep school. When he discovers his students' classical musical talent, he decides to teach them a little about rock 'n' roll, and the mismatched group finds a special bond. This production features two casts, one featuring adults and teens, and a second featuring teens and youths. Check show times for cast information.
