Martha Redbone's "Bone Hill: The Concert"

Presented as a dramatic musical work with a cast of eight actor-musicians, "Bone Hill: The Concert" is inspired by Martha Redbone's family history in the Appalachian Mountains. This is an epic story of one woman's return to her homeland on Black Mountain and the coalmines of Harlan County, Kentucky. This show is presented in partnership with UT Dallas School of Arts & Humanities, whose vocal ensemble will open the show, after a four-day residency on campus.
