About Join in the Winter Solstice Celebration – herald the coming of light

The Winter Solstice will soon be upon us and it is time to celebrate the coming of longer days and short nights. The Celebration will be held Dec. 19, starting at 6 pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Oak Cliff (UUCOC), 3839 W. Kiest Blvd., Dallas.

The evening begins with the GloriChanters with Glorian Mulligan-Stratton leading the UUCOC choir at 6:00 pm. Following Odin’s welcome at 6:30 and Spin Goddess Kathy Kinkaid’s opening ceremony, guests will have a variety of activities indoors and out to choose from between 7-9:30 including musical entertainment, children’s crafts, Labyrinth Walk meditation, and more to choose from between 7-9:30.

There is no admission fee but donations for the entertainers and the event are welcomed as are canned good(s) for the homeless. The LWCH is a non-profit operated entirely by volunteers. http://www.labyrinthwalkcoffeehouse.com
