Jennifer Peal & Emmeline in Concert

About Jennifer Peal & Emmeline in Concert
Singers-songwriters Jennifer Mansfield Peal and Emmeline will be performing at the Labyrinth Walk Coffee House (LWCH). No cover charge. Donations accepted.
Ms. Peal, guitarist, accordionist, and mountain dulcimist, is known for her urban and new folk and Americana songs. She has toured Northern Ireland twice and appeared on the main stage at the Kenville Folk Festival. She has been involved in numerous original productions and ensembles and has four independent albums.
From October 2012 until February 2014, Ms. Peal created and hosted the broadcast radio show “Everybody’s Folk” for KNON 89.3 FM in Dallas.
This will be Ms. Peal’s last show in Dallas at “this friendly UU Oak Cliff Venue” before relocating to southern Colorado. http://jennimansfieldpeal.com/
Emmeline is a pint-sized singer/songwriter, piano and guitar player from Dallas. Darryl Smyers of the Dallas Observer raves that Emmeline’s “straight-ahead take on folk/rock may actually be the best thing” on a bill of seasoned, signed artists. The Ghost of Blind Lemon blog says she “not only possesses a beautiful voice, but writes songs that are simply beautiful and heartfelt.” Fellow musicians Avoiding Disaster refer to her as “some sort of sonic angel.” Ms Peal observed that Emmeline’s “images and passages of the songs, whether gently reflected or emphatically pronounced, create a sampler of genuine soul observations.”
Emmeline will sing some favorite old songs as well as new ones from the new CD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOFmO5_3zyY and https://www.facebook.com/emmelinemusic
LWCH is a non-profit organization run by volunteers presenting a variety of live musical and other programs including a free 2nd Sunday monthly Jazz Jam and a 3rd Sunday Psychic and Holistic Fair. Other events include a Winter Solstice Celebration on Dec. 9.
