When composer Harvey Schmidt and lyricist Tom Jones, of "The Fantasticks" fame, took a whack at a musical about marriage, they scored seven Tony nomination with "I Do! I Do! I Do! I Do!" This intimate, nostalgic story follows one couple from their wedding day through 50 years of quarrels, forgiveness and ultimately, a deep, enduring love. Originally starring theater legends Mary Martin and Robert Preston on Broadway, this newly adapted Brick Road Theatre production of "I Do! I Do! I Do! I Do!" comes to Plano's Courtyard Theater packed with all the romance and rockiness of a real-life, long-lasting marriage.
