Symphony Breathes New Life Into Silent Films

The Dallas Chamber Symphony presents a program filled to the brim with music that is quirky, fun and wildly entertaining at Moody Performance Hall. First, Milhaud's "The Creation of the World" spotlights the orchestra's accomplished winds and percussion. After intermission, renowned film composer Conrad Pope will inspire you as he brings the silver screen to life with brand new scores for a pair of silent films: Lotte Reiniger's "Cinderella" and "From Hand to Mouth" starring Harold Lloyd.
