About Counting Crows

Counting Crows, With Citizen Cope & Hollis Brown

Counting Crows became instant stars in 1994 with the release of their smash hit "Mr. Jones." Drawn in by Adam Duritz' expressive vocals, fans soon fell in love with Counting Crows' dark and angsty mix of Van Morrison-style classic rock with alternative college radio attitude. The band's addictive melodies led to other hits like "Round Here," "A Long December" and "Hanginaround," as well as the Oscar-nominated "Accidentally in Love." Their latest album, "Somewhere Under Wonderland", debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart, with "The Daily Telegraph" of London calling it "their best collection of songs since their debut." Famous for their energetic and inventive live shows, in which they reinvent songs and give new life to covers, Counting Crows come to the Allan Event Center. Joining them are genre-blending singer-songwriter Citizen Cope and Outlaw Roadshow favorite Hollis Brown.
