Come to the Free Jazz Jam on April 12

About Come to the Free Jazz Jam on April 12
The Labyrinth Walk Coffee House continues its tradition of welcoming jazz musicians and fans to the 2nd Sunday Jazz Jam at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Oak Cliff, 3839 W. Kiest Blvd, Dallas, TX 75233 on April 12, from 5 to 7 pm. There is no admission fee. Donations are distributed among the performers.
Entertaining the fans at the March jam were musicians De Porres, Patrick Yakovich, Gerhard Kraus, Tim Stiles, and John McIver and vocalist Kimberly Engle, Janet, and Lady Diamond.
Players bring your instruments and Real Books (Hal Leonard 6th edition VOL I & II) and join in. Something new? Bring it along as well with the sheet music and the lyrics. We have no equipment for musicians so please be as self contained as possible. We need a drummer willing to set up and share his/her drums.
You may bring your soft drinks, wine or beer and food, if you wish, your own use or share at the community table.
LWCH is a non-profit organization run by volunteers presenting a variety of live musical programs, including the free monthly jazz jam. Other upcoming ticketed events include:
*Jazz Under the Stars Series
~May 3 with Shoot Low Sheriff
~May 17 with the E-Flat Porch Band
~May 24 with Lady Diamond
~May 31 with Freddie Jones
*August 22 Vaudeville
