Fort Worth, Texas-The question on everyone’s mind lately is, “Who is Nadiya Sol?” which is one question she’s not afraid to answer, either in song or in a personal message to fans. Nadiya Sol truly is the girl next door, not the cliché girl we’ve all heard of, who is sweet, perfect, and has no problems. Nadiya Sol is someone you can relate to, she’s a girl who has gone through the same struggles as every other girl, and isn’t afraid to voice them. She’s a girl who has struggled to find herself, her worth, her purpose, and now has through song and personal testimony.

Growing up in Fort Worth, and singing since the age of eleven on stage, Nadiya Sol looked to her musical influences, like Selena-but don’t list her in just one category, as Sol’s musical style is just as eclectic as her musical taste. She credits the blues, soul, and pop for her unique sound, and despite all of the expected comparisons to Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato respectively, Sol is deserving of her own lane. While comparisons are typical in understanding an artist’s sound, Sol’s subject matter is a bit more mature than what you’d hear from those two.
