Big Scary

Big Scary are a boy/girl two-piece from Melbourne, Australia. Joanna chills at the kit, occasionally chiming in with some backing vocals, whilst lead singer Tom swaps between electric guitar and keys, in turn moulding the on-stage genres from grunge to pop to moody ballads. It's this eclecticism that have allowed Big Scary to support bands from Midlake to Florence & The Machine, and would be just as comfortable with Led Zepellin too.

The last 18mths have been massive for the Melbourne two-piece, Big Scary has been busy collecting fans and widespread industry support with their constantly evolving musical stylings and energetic live shows. Prolific in their outpouring of music, 2012 will see the talented duo release their debut LP 'Vacation' (worldwide on Sept 18)

With a buzz building the US via a few high profile syncs, October will see Big Scary spending the month in the US, touring East & West coast before ending up at CMJ in New York
