About "An Evening With Molly Ringwald"

Molly Ringwald Brings Jazz Cabaret to Dallas

Before she rejected Duckie in "Pretty in Pink", before she applied lipstick without her hands in "The Breakfast Club", before she completed a sex quiz in "Sixteen Candles", Molly Ringwald was a singer. She began performing in her dad's jazz band at age three, and she's never stopped singing since, heavily influenced by such vocal legends as Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith and Blossom Dearie. Taking the stage at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts as part of a tour that has taken her to seven countries, Ringwald performs her unique take on jazz standards from the Great American Songbook as well as numbers from her debut jazz album, "Except Sometimes".
