Steve Miller Band: Classic Rock Legends Play Verizon Theatre

The Steve Miller Band has performed off and on since debuting in the late 1960s, but its music has never gone away. This show at the Verizon Theatre is your chance to hear hits like "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle," "Rock'n Me" and "Abracadabra," which continue to form the foundation of classic rock radio station playlists all over the country. Fronted by its eponymous guitarist and lead vocalist Steve Miller, the band's trademark blues-rock sound has made him one of the defining artists of the '70s and '80s, with a greatest hits album that still sells amazing quantities more than 25 years after it was first released. Blues-rock guitarist Jimmie Vaughan (brother of Stevie Ray Vaughan) opens at this not-to-be-missed concert.
