Two religious zealots hole themselves in a rundown hotel in Anaheim, California. Their goal? To blow up the most famous amusement park in the world -- and take down The Mouse once and for all. But after a reconnaissance mission to "The Happiest Place on Earth" causes one of the men to question their cause, a war erupts between the two that quickly spirals out of control. Skewering everything from American consumerism to religious fanaticism to pork rinds, "Hotel California" was first presented as a staged reading during MBS Productions' "7 Plays in 7 Days" festival, where it was the audience and critics' fave.
