New York Goofs: Acclaimed Clown Troupe Mixes Music, Magic & Mayhem

Winners of the Golden Nose Award for Best Clowns in New York in 2009, the New York Goofs are a riotous group of physical comedians and variety performers who've appeared at top (and big top!) circuses, theaters and festivals around the world, including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. With comedy at its core, their new show "Hopped Up on Goofballs Cabaret" promises eccentric dancing, musical saw, magic and "hula-hooping insanity," with each show as unique and unpredictable as the performers. The troupe's co-founders, Dick Monday and Tiffany Riley, host this revelatory night of revelry, transitioning acts with their absurd comedy (at some point in the evening, "Chef Dick" will even make banana pancakes for one lucky winner of the participatory game, "Who's Been a Stripper?").
