About "Come Blow Your Horn"

Neil Simon's First Comedy -- "Come Blow Your Horn"

Before Neil Simon achieved fame for Broadway hits like "Barefoot in the Park", "The Odd Couple" and "Brighton Beach Memoirs", he penned the swinging '60s comedy "Come Blow Your Horn". Simon's first Broadway show -- which later became a film starring Frank Sinatra -- "Come Blow Your Horn" follows Buddy, a 21-year-old virgin who flees his parents' house for the carefree bachelor's life at his brother Alan's New York apartment. Alan schools Buddy on how to be a ladies' man, making him a carbon copy of himself. But when Alan starts developing feelings for one of his many girlfriends, his carefree persona gives way to vulnerability and a desire for connection. As Alan grows out of the role, Buddy takes over as resident playboy. See "Come Blow Your Horn" in Plano at Rover Dramawerks.
