Carry the Torch 5K and Fun Run

Run, don’t walk, to register for C. C. Young’s Carry the Torch 5K and Fun Run set for March 3, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. This family-friendly event will begin on C. C. Young’s campus and will take participants on a scenic route through East Dallas. A race shirt, glow kit and medals for all 5K finishers are included in the registration. Following the race, the party begins with food trucks, vendors and a DJ for entertainment. Awards will also be given in age group categories and for Overall and Masters Male and Female Finishers. Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards.

Net proceeds from the race will benefit the C. C. Young Cares Program, which provides flash frozen, heart-healthy meals for seniors in need throughout the Dallas Metroplex.
