In addition to giving a brief historic overview of the Holocaust (1933-1945), the exhibition delves into three events that occurred on one day, April 19,1943, in the context of the Holocaust.

By contrasting these three different reactions to the deportation of Jews to extermination camps, that occurred in three distinctly different countries, we hope to stimulate visitors to consider how this history teaches important lessons and how learning about the past and from the past can be a force for transforming the present and changing the future.
